Junior Cotillion (6, 7, 8th grade students)
The Junior Cotillion program offers valuable social skills training for middle grades as listed: Class I: 6th grade students Class II: 7th grade students Class III: 8th grade students The calendar and information for each class are listed on the respective pages. "What do you do at cotillion?", is a common question. This program is an engaging way for young people to learn respect for others and to practice civility. It's that simple. We use activities and social dance to teach and practice valuable life skills. Attire: Young ladies should wear dresses or party dresses for all regular sessions. Short gloves should be worn on these occasions. Gentlemen should wear a sport coat, tie, and dress slacks to all regular sessions.
Parent Participation: Parents may participate by signing up to be a host at one of the sessions. Parents are sent tips to reinforce each lesson after the session. Annual Costume Party: Students look forward to theme nights. Each year, the classes enjoy the costume contest that accompanies the theme session. |
24-25 School Year Cotillion Club ( for 5th Grade Students)
This class meets once per week after school for 6 weeks on Thursdays from 3:45 p.m-4:40 p.m. The session is during the second semester of the school year. Enrollment begins May 1, 2024; Ends January 10, 2025 WINTER 2025 January 16, 23, 30 February 6, 13, 20 We meet in North Little Rock; location will be shared in the confirmation letter. Topics will include: Meeting and greeting, handshakes, etiquette in public places, and table manners. Small classes provide great practice and interaction. Class size will be limited to 24. Attire: Students should wear a school uniform with a collared short (no T-shirts). Slacks or skirts are appropriate. Alternately, students may wear shorts or pants and blouse or collared shirt. Registration is ongoing until January 10, 2025. Tuition is $139 per student. (Registration button is on the left.) |
